For voice students registrations reminder:
You may add/delete/edit students up to the Registration Deadline.
Limit:
No more than 20 Treble Voice parts. Please count your altos and sopranos to confirm you have 20 or less before you enter names online.

Dress Code for Senior Festival for all groups - (voted at June '03 Meeting):
Black and White Only:  Solid White Shirts
Men long ties, no bow ties
Black to the Shoe (pants, or skirt to floor, or skirt with black tights)

Taped auditions may be used for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

Audition Registration Fee is: $5.00 (Subject to change at Sept. meeting)

Festival Fee is $22 per person. Subject to change at Sept. meeting)

(The following was voted at the Sept. 05 meeting):
CHORAL SIGHT SINGING
•That the tesatura be at an appropriate level
•No more that two leaps of a major third and stepwise motion
•Judges will rotate between three sight singing examples (and have students perform 1)
Start on “do”
•Be four measures in length
• Follow the general guidelines of MA SE District


New Items from June past Meetings:
CCMEA will not provide a meal on Thursday evening of the Senior Festival.
Food will be for sale and students are encouraged to bring a bag dinner.

Audition selections
Wind and percussion students auditioning for the All-Cape High School Music Festival can audition with either the Massachusetts Jr. Southeast District audition piece or the Massachusetts Sr. Southeast District audition piece. There will be no difference in scoring.

String students can also audition on either the Massachusetts Jr. Southeast District audition piece or the Massachusetts Sr. Southeast District audition piece. For string students only, there will be an added credit for auditioning on the Senior audition piece.

Choral students can audition on the Massachusetts Sr. Southeast District audition piece only. (10/30/08)

Percussion students will not use multi percussion requirement.

The top two scorers will be split between the orchestra and the band.  The third and fourth scorers will be split between the orchestra and the band. (Voted at Sept. 2004 Meeting)
